BULLY

Bully is the twelfth studio album by American rapper and producer Ye (formerly Kanye West), released on March 28, 2026. Distributed by the independent media company Gamma, the album marks Ye's first major solo studio project since Donda (2021) and serves as a thematic departure from his collaborative Vultures trilogy. Conceptualized during a period of self-imposed isolation in Tokyo, Japan, Bully is characterized by a return to sample-based production and a darker, more introspective sonic palette. The album's title and central theme were inspired by a specific incident involving Ye’s son, Saint West. In an interview with Justin LaBoy, Ye recounted that Saint had kicked another child during playtime because he considered the child "weak," a moment that Ye stated revealed a hereditary trait of resilience and aggression. This narrative of strength and defiance is visually represented by the album's official cover art, a high-contrast black-and-white photograph taken by legendary Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, featuring a close-up of Saint West wearing titanium grills. 출처: Last.fm
